Moscow city tour 

During city tour of Moscow you’ll see: Red Square (Red Square is the most famous square of Moscow). The guests of the city will learn the story of Moscow’s most iconic sights such as St. Basil’s Cathedral, GUM, Kremlin walls, Masoleum, Zaradje park, Christ the Sabior Cathedral (Intriguing story of this church could be a metaphor for the whole history of Russia. Majestic by its exterior and its interior Christ the Saviour Cathedral is the biggest Eastern Orthodox Church in the world), Sofia’s embankment which gives an impressive view of Moscow Kremlin. Then we will drive to Novodevichy convent . It is the best-known cloister of Moscow, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A unique ensemble of Moscow baroque architecture and an exile place of many ladies from the Russian royal families. Sparrow Hills is one of highest points in Moscow gives an excellent panoramic view of the city. Nearby is the famous Moscow State University. Victory Park is a memorial complex dedicated to the victory of Russians over Nazi Germany. It is  a solemn architectural ensemble with monuments, obelisks and fountains.

14:30 Tretiakov Art gallery visit

The State Tretyakov Gallery is one of Russia’s largest art galleries. The gallery’s history starts in 1856 when the Moscow merchant Pavel Mikhailovich Tretiakov acquired works by Russian artists of his day with the aim of creating a collection, which might later grow into a museum of national art. The Tretyakov Gallery mainly exhibits classical Russian art – paintings, sculptures, icons, and works of decorative arts and crafts dating from the 11th to the early 20th century. The exhibition space in the main building of the gallery is over 12,000 square metres and is divided into 62 themed halls. The collection amounts to 170,000 artworks. Masterpieces of medieval Russian icon painting as well as paintings by I. Aivazovsky, M. Vrubel, K. Bryullov, V. Vasnetsov, and dozens of works by other Russian artists are displayed here.

10:00 Guided tour to Moscow Kremlin grounds with the Cathedrals 

The Moscow Kremlin is one of the biggest architectural and urban development ensembles in the world. It stands in the centre of the city, on the Borovitsky Hill situated on the Moskva River left bank.  The territory of 27,5 hectare houses wide squares and beautiful gardens, majestic palaces and plenty of churches. The whole city in the city, which had been forming for many centuries, today preserves monuments of Russian architecture of the 14th – 20th centuries. The cathedrals, churches, administrative buildings form the ensemble of Cathedral, Ivanovskaya, Senatskaya, Dvortsovaya and Troitskaya Squares, as well as Spasskaya, Borovitskaya, and Dvortsovaya Streets in the Kremlin. The ancient and the new squares form an architectural ensemble, but each component has its own history and unique architectural appearance.

12:00 Armory Chamber visit 

The Armoury Chamber, a treasure house, is a part of the Grand Kremlin Palace’s complex. It is situated in the building constructed in 1851 by the famous architect Konstantin Ton. The museum collections were based on the precious items. Some of the exhibits were made in the Kremlin workshops, others were accepted as ambassadorial gifts. The Armory Chamber preserves ancient State regalia, ceremonial royal garment and coronation dresses, vestments of the Russian Orthodox Church Hierarchs, the largest collection of gold- and silverware made by Russian craftsmen, West European artistic silver, ceremonial arms and armor, carriages and horse ceremonial harness. The State Armory presents more than four thousands items of applied art made in Russia, European and Eastern countries in the 4th to early 20th century.

Departure to Kolomenskoye Estate, visit Alexy Mikhailovich Palace and the territory 

Kolomenskoye is a former royal estate situated several kilometers to the southeast of the city center of Moscow, Russia, on the ancient road leading to the town of Kolomna. The 390 hectare scenic area overlooks the steep banks of the Moscow River. It became a part of Moscow in the 1960s. The Palace of the Tsar Alexey Mikhailovich in Kolomenskoye is a monument of art and every-day life of the last and brightest period of Moscow Tsardom, the period from which modernRussiatakes its roots. The palace that was referred to by contemporaries as the Eighth Wonder of the Word has survived in the national memory and is mentioned or depicted numerous documents, memoires, inventories, paintings, plans, drawings and models preserved in Russian and West European archives and museums.
